Welcome to Trinity Players
Trinity Players is an award-winning amateur theatre society
based in Sutton Coldfield, which has been performing high
quality shows for over 40 years. Formed in 1975 we have grown to
become a thriving group that puts on three shows each year. We
start with our musical in the spring, followed by a play in late
summer/early autumn and a musical entertainment-style production around
Christmas time. Please enjoy your journey around our site and if
you like what you see feel free to get in touch with us.
Our next production is:
20th - 24th September 2016
Sutton Arts Theatre, South Parade, Sutton Coldfield, B72 1QU
Trinity Players is proud to present Alan Bennett's superb adaptation of Kenneth Grahame's The Wind In The Willows, which will be performed at Sutton Arts Theatre
during 20th-24th September 2016 and will include a Saturday matinee performance.
Following its first performance at the Royal National Theatre, London in December 1990 the play was adapted to a slightly shortened version which was produced at the Old Vic Theatre,
London in 1994. It is this adaptation that will be performed by Trinity Players, which was described by the Financial Times as 'A brilliantly theatrical piece of storytelling
The Independent On Sunday commented that 'Alan Bennett's witty adaptation is faithful to the events of Kenneth Grahame's book, while also being wonderfully inventive
in characterisation and dialogue.'
So why not come along and enjoy an evening with Toad, Ratty, Mole, Badger and a host of other characters from the 'Wild Wood' and the 'Wide World'.
Tickets are only £5 for our opening night on Tuesday 20th September 2016 so come along and enjoy a great evening of superb entertainment.
